Engage with a dynamic caseload, primarily supporting a diverse group of students in a learning support setting.

As the lead teacher for one or two classes and a co-teacher during other periods, you will foster academic growth and personal development for students with varying needs. The school day runs from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., providing steady structure while allowing you to collaborate and make a measurable difference.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active PA Special Education Teacher Certification (N-12 or 7-12)
  • Additional certification in High School Algebra and/or Science is highly valued
  • Experience or strong interest in teaching and co-teaching in special education environments
  • Solid communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
  • Dedication to supporting students of varying abilities in achieving their educational goals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach assigned special education learning support classes, delivering tailored instruction
  • Co-teach alongside general educators to provide integrated and inclusive classroom experiences
  • Develop and modify lesson plans and individualized education programs (IEPs) to meet student needs
  • Monitor academic progress, offering encouragement and timely interventions as needed
  • Work in partnership with staff, families, and support professionals to create a nurturing learning environment
