Position Details:
- Dates: July 29, 2026 May 27, 2027 (Full school year)
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, onsite in K-8 settings
- Roles include:
- PCD Teacher at primary level
- Multi-cat self-contained classroom (K-2nd grade)
- EC resource teacher (K-8)
- ED resource teacher (K-5)
- Early childhood resource roles
Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina teaching license (required)
- BOTH Special Education and Early Childhood degree certification (required)
- Multi-categorical endorsement (required)
- Experience working in multi-cat, resource, or self-contained classrooms preferred
Responsibilities:
- Develop, adapt, and implement effective IEPs
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom for a diverse student population
- Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families
- Address behavioral, emotional, and academic needs
- Maintain clear, regular communication with all stakeholders
