Position Details:

  • Dates: July 29, 2026 May 27, 2027 (Full school year)
  • Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, onsite in K-8 settings
  • Roles include:
    • PCD Teacher at primary level
    • Multi-cat self-contained classroom (K-2nd grade)
    • EC resource teacher (K-8)
    • ED resource teacher (K-5)
    • Early childhood resource roles

Qualifications:

  • Active South Carolina teaching license (required)
  • BOTH Special Education and Early Childhood degree certification (required)
  • Multi-categorical endorsement (required)
  • Experience working in multi-cat, resource, or self-contained classrooms preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, adapt, and implement effective IEPs
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom for a diverse student population
  • Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families
  • Address behavioral, emotional, and academic needs
  • Maintain clear, regular communication with all stakeholders
