Key Qualifications:

• Valid state Special Education Teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction and evidence-based interventions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for working with students with a range of disabilities and support needs
• Ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff
• Adaptability and resourcefulness in the classroom

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction tailored to the individual needs of students with disabilities
• Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Utilize data-driven approaches to track student progress and adapt instruction
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion and modify curriculum as needed
• Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Communicate regularly with parents/caregivers regarding student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as required
