Job Description

Job Title:Special Education Teacher
Location: Woonsocket, RI area
Position Type:Full-Time (30+ hours)
Start Date:ASAP
End Date:End of School Year

Responsibilities

Manage elementary caseload (K-2 Self-Contained)
Lead classroom activities based on individual student needs
Deliver direct instruction curriculum in individualized and small group settings
Implement behavior intervention plans and manage classroom behaviors for effective classroom organization and participation
Collaborate with related service providers to implement accommodations, modifications, and goal work throughout the week

Qualifications

Must hold an active Rhode Island Special Education License
Experience working with younger studentspreferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to inclusive education and student success.
