Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification, or eligibility for certification before the start date
• Experience with elementary and/or middle school special education, preferably in resource classroom settings
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent classroom management techniques tailored to students with a variety of learning and behavioral needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Commitment to inclusive practices and differentiated instruction

What Youll Do:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students within resource classrooms at both the elementary and middle school levels
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet student-specific goals and learning styles
• Work closely with general education teachers and related service providers to promote integration and access to the general curriculum
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, challenges, and successes
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation and comply with all reporting requirements
