A full-time special education teaching opportunity is now available for the upcoming school year to provide immediate support in an early childhood setting. The schools current teacher is preparing for maternity leave, and this contract role offers the chance to make a real difference by meeting the needs of young learners receiving learning support.

The position focuses on delivering push-in and pull-out services to early childhood students requiring learning support, with no responsibility for behavior or emotional support caseloads. You will work collaboratively with school staff within a supportive environment where your expertise is valued.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification (SPED in PA)
• Demonstrated experience in special education, preferably in early childhood or elementary settings
• Familiarity with push-in and pull-out instructional delivery
• Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and supporting learning needs
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Fingerprinting and standard district onboarding requirements will apply

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students requiring learning support
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure appropriate accommodations
• Implement IEP goals and collect data on student progress
• Utilize effective teaching strategies for diverse learning needs
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and training as required
