Job Description

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid certification in both Early Childhood Education and Special Education (dual licensure required)
  • Proven experience or strong knowledge of best practices in early childhood special education settings
  • Dedication to fostering inclusive, supportive classroom environments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide adaptive instruction to a caseload of 10-15 Pre-K students in a single school building
  • Modify curriculum and facilitate engaging activities tailored to diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
  • Document progress and maintain records in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive early childhood learning environment
