Role Details:

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, 32-37.5 hours per week
  • August 2026 November 2026 (12-week contract)
  • Elementary caseload (Kindergarten through 4th grade)
  • Supportive school setting with opportunities to collaborate and learn
  • Seeking one Special Education Teacher to fill this valuable travel position

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification/license (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience working directly with elementary (K-4th) students preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in new environments
  • Ability to manage a caseload and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect services to students with diverse educational needs
  • Develop and execute IEPs alongside a multidisciplinary team
  • Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment
