Role Details:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 32-37.5 hours per week
- August 2026 November 2026 (12-week contract)
- Elementary caseload (Kindergarten through 4th grade)
- Supportive school setting with opportunities to collaborate and learn
- Seeking one Special Education Teacher to fill this valuable travel position
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification/license (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working directly with elementary (K-4th) students preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in new environments
- Ability to manage a caseload and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect services to students with diverse educational needs
- Develop and execute IEPs alongside a multidisciplinary team
- Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and support staff
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment
