This contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment for experienced Special Education Teachers licensed in New Hampshire who can engage and empower learners from early elementary to high school. Desired Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire Special Education Teacher Certification (required)
- Experience teaching or supporting student learning in grades K5, 68, and/or 912
- Strong working knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with general educators, support staff, and families
- Ability to adapt lesson plans and instructional techniques to suit individual needs
- Dedication to fostering inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based instruction in alignment with individual education plans (IEPs)
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with ongoing plan development and documentation
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support
- Provide behavioral management, emotional support, and accommodations as needed
- Maintain a positive, supportive classroom climate that encourages student independence
