Were looking for a dedicated special education teacher to work full-time from August 2026 through June 2027 in a supportive school environment near Bedford, NH. Youll connect with students in both second and fifth grades across two close-knit school locations, serving as a crucial teaching and case management resource for approximately 15 students. This is a contract opportunity that runs Monday through Friday, 32-37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid state certification in Special Education or eligibility to obtain NH certification
• Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field; masters preferred
• Experience working with elementary students, particularly in 2nd and 5th grades, strongly desired
• Strong skills in instructional adaptation, differentiated learning, and IEP development
• Excellent organization, communication, and collaboration abilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction to individual and small groups, tailored to students IEP goals
• Serve as primary case manager for a dedicated group of approximately 15 students
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to develop and monitor IEPs
• Implement classroom management strategies and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide regular progress updates and advocate for student needs across two school locations
