Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Oregon Special Educator License
• Previous experience teaching students with mild to moderate or significant disabilities is preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Adaptable, patient, and creative problem-solver
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging instruction for a K-12 caseload, tailoring lessons to meet each students unique strengths and needs
• Develop, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes social, emotional, and academic development
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, administrators, and families to ensure student success
• Maintain compliant records and participate actively in IEP meetings
