Job Description
Seeking passionate Special Education Teachers for multiple contract positions starting August 2026 through June 2027. These onsite assignments are designed to support diverse student needs in a variety of elementary and middle school settings near the scenic coastal region of Beaufort, SC. Positions are available at several schools, including early childhood and elementary centers offering both intensive and supplemental support models. Opportunities also exist on Hilton Head Island, SC.
Ideal candidates should bring experience and a genuine commitment to supporting students with a range of learning differences. Assignments vary, providing hands-on involvement in dynamic school environments. More detailed information on specific roles and settings will be provided during interviews, ensuring each teacher finds the best fit.
What were looking for:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Background in delivering specialized instruction within school environments
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction
- Ability to work collaboratively with general education staff, support team members, and families
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Previous experience in intensive or supplemental support preferred, but not required
