Qualifications sought:

  • Active and valid Delaware Special Education certification (must be attached with application)
  • Experience working with diverse student populations within a school or district setting
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability to support students throughout the district
  • Passion for creating inclusive and differentiated learning experiences

Your responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive special education services to assigned students in accordance with IEP goals and district policies
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure holistic support and compliance with objectives
  • Assess student needs and track progress, making data-driven recommendations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
