What were seeking:

• Current Kansas special education licensure
• Openness to working across resource and self-contained classrooms
• K-12 teaching experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with Kansas school systems is a plus, not a requirement
• Genuine passion for helping students with diverse learning needs succeed
• Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
• Eagerness to participate actively in IEP meetings
• Proficiency in creating and modifying individualized educational program goals

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing instruction and supports tailored to students IEPs
• Actively collaborating with educators, therapists, and families
• Engaging in and contributing to IEP planning and meetings
• Adapting lesson plans to meet each learners requirements
• Monitoring and documenting student progress on IEP objectives
• Creating an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment
• Maintaining open and professional communication with all stakeholders
