Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working onsite as a Structured Classroom Teacher for grades K-2, focused on delivering quality special education services for the 2026-2027 academic year. This fulfilling role lets you provide case management and direct instruction for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring their unique needs are met with compassion and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage IEP caseloads, maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations
- Develop and implement a full continuum of services tailored to each students needs
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction and create a supportive classroom environment
- Keep thorough and accurate student records
- Consult and participate in the RtI (Response to Intervention) process
- Communicate regularly and proactively with parents and guardians to foster collaboration
- Provide behavior management support and implement individualized intervention plans
- Work closely with staff to implement accommodations and modifications
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning space
- Take on other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience with structured classrooms and early elementary grades (K-2) preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
