Key Qualifications:

• Active Special Education teaching license for Texas
• Experience working with high school students in a specialized educational setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Able to adapt instructional methods to fit individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to inclusive practices
• Previous SPED experience in schools highly desirable

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction, tools, and resources tailored to the needs of each student
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with students, families, and school professionals
• Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust approaches as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development sessions, and regular team communications
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages growth and confidence
• Support students transition planning and social-emotional development
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance requirements
