Job Description
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners by supporting K-3rd grade students with Autism Spectrum Disorder for the full 2026-2027 school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work onsite with a dedicated school community located near Aurora, IL, and provides a consistent, full-time schedule of 35 hours per week.

Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educators License (PEL) for Illinois schools, issued through ISBE
- Experience or strong interest in working with students on the Autism Spectrum
- Ability to adapt and utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet individual student needs
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on teamwork and parent collaboration
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to elementary students (grades K-3) with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress, adjust strategies as needed, and maintain ongoing documentation
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and share insights to support each students learning journey
