Job Description

An opportunity is available for a bilingual Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Aurora, IL. This is a contract position for the current school year (CSY), offering a W2 role with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with special needs across K-12.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development for all students.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations relating to special education.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid LBS1 certification or equivalent license.
  • Proficiency in bilingual education strongly preferred.
  • Experience with special education services for K-12 students.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to enhancing student learning and success.
