Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Special Education Teacher license
• Experience working with elementary and middle school students (K-8 preferred)
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Adapt curriculum and use evidence-based instructional strategies to meet student needs
• Work with general education teachers, staff, and families to facilitate full participation in the classroom
• Collect data, track student progress, and participate in parent conferences and IEP meetings
• Create a supportive, positive classroom environment that fosters student confidence and independence
• Manage all required documentation in a timely, accurate manner
