Make a meaningful difference supporting high school students as a Special Education Case Manager/Teacher on a full-time contract basis for the 2026-2027 school year. Located onsite near Aurora, CO, youll play a key role in guiding students and collaborating with dedicated colleagues in a positive educational environment. This opportunity is ideal for passionate educators with experience or interest in high school special education.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Colorado Special Education Certificate (required)
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or Case Manager preferred
- Knowledge of IEP planning, goal writing, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- A commitment to fostering inclusion and supporting diverse learners
- Ability to manage, document, and deliver a full caseload at the high school grade level
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
- Provide direct instruction, accommodations, and support in a high school setting
- Maintain and update student records, ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, related service providers, and parents
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Advocate for student success and help foster a supportive learning environment
