Job Description

These full-time positions are hosted across several campuses and center-based programs serving a range of elementary to high school students.

Youll have the chance to support students with diverse learning needswhether as an Affective Needs Teacher, Structured Learning Services teacher, Learning Specialist, or SSN teacherat welcoming schools that value collaboration and professional growth. Each role is an integral part of a dedicated community, providing meaningful interventions and fostering positive outcomes for exceptional learners.

Requirements:

  • Active Colorado Department of Education Certification (CO DOE Cert) specific to Special Education
  • Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong understanding of center-based and resource program models
  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and compliance
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to the scheduling and needs of multiple campuses within the North Denver area

What youll do:

  • Deliver individualized instruction tailored to students unique affective, academic, and behavioral needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Build strong relationships with students, families, and staff to support holistic development
  • Participate in school meetings, professional development, and ongoing training

This is an on-site, 35+ hours per week contract position, starting August 11, 2026, through May 20, 2027. Interview scheduling is prompt, with opportunities across multiple schools including elementary, middle, and high school placements.
