Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher on a rewarding, full-time contract assignment in the Denver area. Multiple positions are currently open, focusing on both co-teaching classroom and itinerant roles within early childhood settings for the 2025-26 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized instruction for children ages 0-8, supporting diverse learning needs in inclusive classroom environments or through itinerant services.
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to develop and implement effective IEPs.
- Conduct ongoing assessments, maintain student records, and communicate progress regularly with families and team members.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and resources to support the successful inclusion of students with special needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education teaching certification with Early Childhood Special Education (0-8) endorsement.
- Experience working with early learners in inclusive or specialized settings.
- Strong skills in collaborative planning, communication, and behavior intervention strategies.
- Knowledge of best practices in early childhood special education.
- Flexibility to serve in both co-teaching and itinerant capacities as needed.
- Dedicated, patient, and passionate about supporting childrens unique developmental needs.
