Job Description

Located in Aurora, Colorado, this full-time, contract position is available for the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 setting. The role serves 4th through 7th grade students in an inclusion classroom environment, offering a dynamic opportunity to support diverse learners in a meaningful educational setting. This position requires a Minnesota Special Education Teacher License.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students in an inclusion classroom
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student learning and growth
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to maximize educational outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher License
  • Experience working with 4th through 7th grade students in inclusive or special education settings
  • Strong understanding of special education laws, teaching strategies, and behavior management techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and staff
