Job Description
I have an immediate need for a Special Education Teacher with experience supporting Transition students between the ages 18 to 22. This is a full time job opportunity near Federal Way, Washington.
Duties Include:
- Classroom management
- Overseeing paraprofessionals and behavior support staff
- Establishing and implementing attainable goals and intervention plans
- Maintaining communication with families, related service providers, and school administration
- Ensuring compliance with state and district documentation policies
- Maintaining an engaging classroom conducive to successful instructional services
Requirements:
- Active Washington ESA with Special Education endorsement
- Recent experience working with transition students between the ages of 18 to 22
- Experience supporting students with significant needs
- Full-time availability
