Qualifications:

  • Valid Maine Special Education Teacher License is required
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children in special education preferred
  • Adaptability and skill in tailoring instructional approaches for diverse learning needs

  • Strong organizational skills and an enthusiastic, team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored for preschool students
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers and related service providers
  • Use evidence-based instructional strategies to foster growth and progress
  • Monitor, track, and communicate student outcomes in accordance with compliance standards
  • Engage in regular communication with families regarding student development
  • For the float position: provide support across multiple classrooms and settings as needed
