Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid Special Education Teacher license in ME
• Previous experience in preschool or early education settings preferred

• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Flexibility to serve either as a float (supporting multiple classrooms) or in a dedicated classroom

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth
• Collaborate closely with other educators, service providers, and families to monitor progress and adjust strategies
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and communication as required
• Provide direct instruction and adapt lessons to diverse learning styles and unique abilities
