Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching credential
  • Previous experience working with students in special education across K12 (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in developing and modifying IEPs to address unique student needs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to implement differentiated instruction and behavior management plans
  • Experience delivering math instruction at elementary, middle, or high school levels a plus
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver individualized instruction, accommodations, and modifications to address a wide spectrum of academic and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure student progress
  • Monitor, record, and report on student achievement and IEP goal attainment
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture where all students feel supported
  • Attend team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development sessions as required
  • Utilize assessments and data-driven strategies to inform instructional decisions
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in line with school and district guidelines
