Qualified candidates should possess:

• State certification in Special Education
• Prior experience working with students with disabilities
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Organizational skills to manage classroom activities and documentation
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability in classroom settings
• Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred)
• Familiarity with a variety of instructional strategies and behavioral interventions

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and delivering tailored instructional plans for individual and small group learning
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies to meet IEP goals
• Creating a supportive atmosphere that encourages student growth and development
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation according to school guidelines

• Collaborating with school staff, therapists, and families to maximize student success
