An open full-time position is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in elementary education with a focus on high-needs students. This contract role is based in Aspen, CO, and is scheduled to begin immediately, continuing through the end of the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support to elementary students with special education requirements.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote an inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure academic and social growth.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in special education.
