• Current teaching certification in Special Education (appropriate for the state)

• Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction and utilize evidence-based interventions

• Comfortable with progress monitoring and maintaining documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction to students in a variety of academic and social-emotional areas
• Modify curriculum and teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learners
• Foster a positive, respectful, and structured classroom environment
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Track, document, and report student progress toward IEP goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
