Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with students with IEPs and diverse learning abilities
- Strong understanding of best practices in differentiated instruction and behavioral interventions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and team members
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in both individual and group settings
- Monitor student progress, document growth, and adjust strategies as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
- Foster a supportive and welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages student success and self-advocacy
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
