Were seeking two dedicated professionalsone to provide affective needs support at the middle school level and another to fill a Learning Specialist role focused on supplemental math and literacy instruction. Both opportunities offer full-time hours and the chance to work closely with motivated colleagues and exceptional students.

What You Bring:

• Current Colorado Department of Education Teaching License with Special Education Generalist (Ages 5-21) endorsement
• Experience or strong interest in working with students with moderate to severe disabilities or autism strongly valued
• Familiarity with behavior assessment tools and strategies such as FBAs or ABA a plus
• Comfortable teaching adolescents and managing diverse classroom needs
• Commitment to collaborative problem-solving and individualized instruction

Role Highlights:

• Serve at a single middle school location (either Northglenn or Thornton), fully on-site
• Affective Needs position: support students with significant social, emotional, or behavioral needs tied to educational disabilities
• Learning Specialist position: provide four supplemental support classes focusing on math and literacy, targeting mild/moderate needs (primarily reading and literacy)
• Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week, following the academic calendar through late May 2027
• Coordinate closely with school staff and parents to foster positive student outcomes
• Complete required district credentialing before your start date
