Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Special Education teaching license (CO SPED)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and support to K-8th grade students with diverse learning needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Use data to assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
  • Communicate effectively with families regarding student goals, progress, and strategies for success
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal special education requirements
