Make an impact as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher in the Denver area, supporting young learners at the start of their educational journey. Full-time roles are available for dedicated educators passionate about inclusive early childhood instruction for the 2025-26 school year. Opportunities include co-teaching positions and itinerant assignments across several supportive elementary school communities.
Your expertise will help nurture growth and development for students ages 0-8, working closely with other educators and specialists in vibrant, collaborative environments.
What you bring:
- Active Colorado Department of Education certification
- Early Childhood Special Education (0-8) endorsement required
- Commitment to delivering individualized instruction
- Experience (or strong interest) in early childhood and/or special education settings
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Eagerness to contribute to co-teaching models and dynamic teams
- Ability to travel between schools, if assigned an itinerant role
What youll do:
- Provide specialized instruction and support in both co-teaching classrooms and itinerant settings as assigned
- Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned to student goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families
- Foster positive classroom communities and accessible learning environments
- Track student progress and participate in team meetings
- Engage in ongoing professional learning
Compensation will reflect your experience and expertise, with pay rates ranging from $4557 per hour based on years of relevant experience. This contract, on-site role offers the opportunity to start as soon as possible and extend through May 22, 2026.
