Job Description
Seeking experienced Special Education Teachers to work onsite in Arvada, CO, supporting students in SPED classrooms. This full-time, 35-hour per week contract position involves providing direct services aligned with student IEPs, developing and updating IEPs on schedule, and fulfilling case management responsibilities. Candidates must be prepared to take over cases mid-year, ensuring continuity of services for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support to students in special education classrooms.
- Develop, update, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state guidelines.
- Coordinate case management duties, including communication with parents, staff, and related service providers.
- Take on mid-year caseload transitions efficiently, maintaining continuity and individualized support.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Certification for the state of Colorado.
- SSP (Student Support Personnel) certification.
- Experience working within special education settings, including mid-year case transitions.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
