Job Description

A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Arvada, CO, working onsite within a dedicated SPED classroom. This role involves delivering direct services tailored to students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and managing case responsibilities to support student success. The position requires stepping in mid-year, so candidates must possess experience in seamlessly taking over ongoing cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and services aligned with students IEPs
  • Develop, update, and maintain IEPs according to scheduled timelines
  • Manage case files and fulfill case management duties effectively
  • Collaborate with school staff to support students educational progress

Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Certification for Colorado
  • SSP (Special School Personnel) certification is required
  • Proven experience working with special education students, especially in mid-year case transitions
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage caseload efficiently

Location & Hours:

  • Position is onsite in Arvada, Colorado
  • Full-time commitment, approximately 35 hours per week
