A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in Arlington Heights, IL, with a contract running from ASAP to May 29, 2026. This role involves working with an elementary caseload, specifically in a 4th/5th grade resource classroom. The position offers a dedicated teaching environment within a school setting, providing the opportunity to make a significant impact on students educational development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with diverse learning needs in a resource classroom setting.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in 4th and 5th grades.

- Monitor and assess student performance, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with education regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Illinois Special Education teaching license required.
- Professional Educator License (PEL) mandatory.
- Prior experience working in a special education school setting is essential.
- Strong instructional skills and ability to manage a caseload effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
