An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade, including Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential required
- Experience teaching in settings that serve students Pre K through 12th grade
- Strong knowledge of adapting curriculum for diverse learning needs (K-12)
- Previous experience in inclusive, resource, or self-contained classrooms preferred
- Background in differentiated instruction, IEPs, and behavior management
- Comfortable supporting growth in Math and foundational academic skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
- Modify lesson plans and deliver instruction for a variety of grade levelsranging from Early Childhood to High School
- Track student progress, document goals, and participate in meetings with IEP teams
- Utilize adaptive and differentiated instructional strategies to meet learning objectives
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom community that encourages student confidence and independence
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory and school procedures
