Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education teaching certification; Tier 3 or Tier 4 credentials preferred
• Experience or strong interest in co-teaching, especially in ASD Math at the middle school level
• Deep understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs), differentiation strategies, and best practices for supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging learning environment

Essential Responsibilities:

• Co-plan and deliver engaging math instruction to students with ASD in partnership with a general education teacher
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to student needs
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and data-driven decision making
• Provide behavioral support and contribute to a positive classroom climate
• Maintain detailed records and communicate progress with families and staff
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school-based meetings
