This full-time role is set to begin for the upcoming academic year, with a strong possibility of extending through the entire school yearthe end date is flexible based on the schools needs.

Youll collaborate with fellow educators and experienced paraprofessionals in a close-knit classroom setting dedicated to building students math proficiency and social skills. Serving a small group of approximately 15 middle school students, youll have a significant impact on their learning experience while enjoying a professional and collegial atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Minnesota Special Education Tier 2-4 license.
• Demonstrated experience working with middle school-aged students.
• Passion for supporting students with diverse needs, with a focus on academic and social growth.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized instruction for students in small group settings, emphasizing both math and social skills.
• Adapt lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
• Collaborate closely with another special education teacher and a team of experienced paraprofessionals.
• Maintain accurate records for IEPs and student progress.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence.
