Shape the future of student achievement by taking on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming academic year. This role requires expertise in supporting students with special program needs across all age levels, with focused openings at the middle school level for both resource room and RISE programs. Eight positions are available, all providing essential in-person support and guidance for learners who need it most.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Minnesota teaching credential for Special Education, specifically in Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (tier 3 or 4 required)
• Experience working within special programs across diverse age ranges
• Dedication to fostering inclusive, supportive classroom environments
• Ability to implement individualized education plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with varying learning needs in line with IEPs
• Collaborate with resource and RISE teams to ensure all accommodations and modifications are consistently implemented
• Develop and maintain detailed educational records and progress reports
• Engage with families, administrators, and other educators to promote student growth and well-being
• Support a culture of high expectations and perseverance for all students
