Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Special Education Teacher for K-5, serving children with mild to moderate needs. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential (or eligibility for licensure)
• Experience with K-5 students, especially those with mild to moderate disabilities
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation

• Ability to adapt lessons and instructional techniques to diverse learning styles

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction to elementary students in special education
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families for optimal student support
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all compliance requirements
• Foster positive relationships and promote student self-esteem and independence
