Job Description

Youll dedicate 20 hours per weekMonday through Friday, mornings onlyworking directly with 19 students at one high school, making a real difference in their educational journey.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification for high school level
  • Prior experience working with high school students in a special education setting
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families, support staff, and administrators
  • Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction and support based on students IEPs
  • Track student progress, adjust teaching strategies, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning and goal-setting
  • Maintain a positive, structured classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth
