Make a significant impact within a supportive educational community as a Special Education Teacher, serving students with the highest needs in a Setting 4 environment. This contract role is based at a dedicated learning center near the Andover, MN area and runs from September 25, 2026, through June 10, 2027. Youll have the unique opportunity to support learners ranging from elementary through high school in a collaborative, resource-rich setting across a 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.

In this role, you'll:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with severe behavioral and developmental disabilities
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique learning goals and needs
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of educators, therapists, and support staff
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to create an inclusive, structured, and encouraging classroom environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and challenges
• Participate fully in staff meetings, IEP meetings, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications include:

• Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Experience supporting students with complex needs and high behaviors
• Strong skills in behavior management and differentiated instruction
• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
• A genuine commitment to enhancing the lives of students with special needs
