Make a positive impact as a Special Education Teacher working with K-12 students near North Saint Paul, MN. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the chance to help students succeed academically and personally while collaborating with a dedicated educational team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Minnesota Special Education (SPED) License required
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to support diverse learners across grade levels K-12
- Capable of adapting instruction to meet individualized education plans (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Create and implement lesson plans tailored to varying learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to ensure optimal student support
- Monitor and document students progress, maintaining accurate records
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of educational strategies
