Youll work onsite and collaborate with educators and families to provide specialized instruction for students with Emotional Behavior Disorders. Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current, valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
- Experience working with middle school students, especially those with Emotional Behavior Disorders, is highly preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities
- Ability to build rapport with students who have diverse learning needs
- Passion for creating an inclusive and positive learning environment
- Commitment to working onsite and fulfilling contract through the specified dates
- Must submit MN Special Education Teacher Certification and current resume to be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction following students IEPs
- Address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students on your caseload
- Collaborate with other teachers, specialists, and staff to develop intervention strategies
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Implement positive behavior supports and promote a safe, supportive classroom culture
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers regarding student progress
