A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for 2nd through 5th grade students in an elementary school setting located in Amherst, MA. This is a contract role for the current school year (CSY), with opportunities open to traveling contractors.
Responsibilities include managing a pull-out and inclusion caseload, collaborating with general education teachers to support students in inclusive classrooms, and developing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs. The role requires strong communication skills with students, families, and staff to ensure effective service delivery and student progress.
