Step into a rewarding opportunity shaping the ESY (Extended School Year) experience for elementary-aged students as a Special Education Teacher for the summer session. Enjoy a part-time schedule of 14 hours per week, with half days from 8:30 am to noon, Monday through Thursday, from June 1 to June 25, 2026. Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Current and valid CDE SSP licensure.
- Experience working with elementary students in special education settings.
- Familiarity with ESY programming or similar enrichment/support activities preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to foster a positive, inclusive environment for diverse learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction based on IEP goals during Summer ESY.
- Develop engaging, individualized lesson plans tailored to student needs.
- Monitor student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as necessary.
- Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success.
- Participate in any district-required onboarding processes and adhere to school policies.
