Seeking a certified Special Education Teacher with expertise in Cognitive Impairments for a travel assignment in Allendale, MI. This role focuses on supporting early childhood through kindergarten students within a school environment, providing essential special education services and case management.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification in Cognitive Impairments required
- Experience with Early Childhood to Kindergarten caseload
- Ability to manage and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Capable of attending and actively participating in IEP and team meetings
- Strong organizational skills for case management responsibilities
Location and Schedule:
- Assignment located in Allendale, MI
- Travel position supporting multiple school settings as needed
- Working hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Employment duration: May 18th through June, then August through October
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with cognitive impairments
- Update and maintain accurate IEP documentation
