Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid teaching credential in Special Education.
  • Experience providing instruction to students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Skilled in adapting lessons for students at varying stages, including early childhood, elementary, middle school, and high school.
  • Strong background in teaching Math concepts to multiple grade levels.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and administration.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and individualized education planning skills.
  • Previous experience with IEP development and implementation is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction tailored to students individual education plans in both resource and inclusive classroom settings.
  • Support academic and social-emotional growth for students in grades K-12, as well as early learners in Pre-School and Kindergarten.
  • Assess student performance, monitor progress, and modify teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Develop and update IEPs and maintain accurate documentation on student progress.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster a positive, inclusive school culture.
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, challenges, and successes.
