Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid teaching credential with Special Education endorsement
• Experience working with students in early childhood, elementary, middle, or high school settings (Pre-K through 12th grade)
• Competence in adapting general education curriculum, with a strong foundation in Math instruction
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Familiarity with a range of instructional strategies and supports for diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to support student learning in grades Pre-K through 12th, including direct Math instruction
• Collaborate with general education teachers to integrate students in mainstream classrooms
• Assess student abilities and monitor progress, adjusting plans as needed
• Prepare and participate in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and services provided
• Engage in ongoing communication with parents, therapists, and service providers
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive class environment
