Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility)
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse learners, including those with IEPs
• Comfortable adapting lessons for students in Grades Pre-K through 12th
• Strong background in Math instruction
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to create positive, engaging, and supportive learning environments
• Flexibility to adjust teaching strategies to meet individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored educational plans for students with varying abilities
• Modify the curriculum, particularly in Math, to ensure accessibility for all learners
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, aides, and support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations
• Track student progress and document outcomes accurately
• Foster a safe, encouraging classroom space where every child can thrive
