A Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Absecon, NJ, supporting students in a school setting under a contract arrangement. This role focuses on delivering tailored instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, fostering their academic and social development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
- Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure inclusive learning environments
- Monitoring and assessing student progress, adjusting instructional methods accordingly
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation as required by education regulations
- Providing direct instruction and behavioral support to meet students unique needs
Desired qualifications and experience:
